AudioControl designs, manufactures, and sells audio equipment for the reproduction of music in home and car stereo systems and for the measurement of sound in professional systems. All these activities are carried out in the state of Washington with facilities in Mountlake Terrace (just north of Seattle) and Spokane (Eastern Washington State). AudioControl began business in 1977. This pursuit of great sound continues: 30 years and counting.

The products are for enthusiasts who generally take a little more than average time to learn what equipment is available. For both the car and home stereo markets, these products are known as signal processors such as equalizers, crossovers and special products. These are niche products sold through specialty distribution as opposed to mass distribution. An increasing part of the company's business is custom home theater and multi-room audio systems.

Over the last decade the company has been growing rapidly. Though still a small company, AudioControl now sells over fifty products in three major markets (car, home and professional) in twenty-six countries. Major international markets included: Canada, Mexico, Germany, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Benelux, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Austria, Philippines, Australia and Singapore. Audio Control DQX

The DQX, digital car audio equalizer from AudioControl, is a great combination of digital car audio processors maximized for performance car audio systems. It combines the amazing digital EQ capabilities of the AudioControl DQT with a fully adjustable three-way electronic car audio crossover.
Each channel of the DQX offers thirty bands of one-third octave digital EQ plus two fully-adjustable parametric equalizers. In addition the DQX offers a 24 dB/octave car audio crossover that allows you to select the ideal frequency bandwidths for your system. All of these features are operated in the digital domain for maximum performance and sound quality.

Once you have made the EQ and crossover settings in your DQX digital car audio equalizer, you can store them in one of eight user-programmable memories. This allows you to recall all of the equalization and crossover settings with the simple push of a button.

Audio Control DQT

The AudioControl DQT, digital car audio equalizer is “the” digital EQ for any performance car audio system. Specially designed digital signal processing allows us to offer both graphic and parametric digital EQ in one compact chassis.

Audio Control DQS

The DQS is a digital car audio processor that combines three high performance digital car audio equalizers in one compact chassis. The six inputs and outputs on the DQS make it ideal for surround sound car theater systems or when using source units with multiple outputs. Even factory installed systems will benefit from the DQS.

Audio Control DQXS

The six inputs on the DQXS allow it to interface with a multitude of source units, whether they have two, four, our six output channels. The DQXS’s programming menu actually allows a user to select an input configuration that optimizes the systems performance. Additionally, the DQXS is equipped with high impedance inputs, which means it can accept high wattage signals from most factory installed source units and amplifiers.
The DQXS begins with AudioControl’s full compliment of equalization controls. The front and subwoofer channels offer precise, one-third octave spaced constant-Q equalization for each channel plus two completely programmable parametric equalization controls. The rear channels also have two completely independent parametric equalizers plus 19 one-half octave spaced controls per channel. All told, the DQXS offers users a total of 142 equalization filters!

Audio Control DQL8

The DQL-8 advanced line output converter is the ultimate OEM integration processor, designed to improve your OEM system while maintaining the look and functions of your factory installed stereo. With the DQL-8 advanced line output converter, you can add aftermarket amplifiers to the factory radio, add an auxiliary source, and equalize the sound to fit your taste.
The DQL-8 advanced line output converter has all the features that make the LC6i line output converter and LC8 line output converter ideal for OEM integration of aftermarket amplifiers. Eight high-level inputs accept up to 400 Watts each, and convert them to six high-quality pre-amp outputs. Internal summing capabilities can overcome OEM factory radio crossovers, and a 12-volt Turn-on lead output works flawlessly with aftermarket components.
Adding an aftermarket source, like an iPod or Satellite Radio module, to your factory stereo is simple with AudioControl's DQL-8 with it's auxiliary stereo input. RCA jacks give universal adaptibility to accept audio signals from almost any source. The multi-functional remote knob allows you to toggle between your OEM radio and auxiliary source, with different system memories for each, as well as attenuate the auxiliary source volume.
The DQL-8 advanced line output converter includes AudioControl’s full compliment of equalization controls. The front and subwoofer channels offer precise, one-third octave spaced constant-Q equalization for each channel plus two completely programmable parametric equalization controls. Audio Control EQS

Great sound for six channels, all in one unit. Separate inputs and equalization for front, rear, and subwoofer speakers. The EQS has seven bands of full and half octave equalization control for the front and rear plus six, one-third octave equalization bands for maximum bass control. Audio Control Epic 160

If you want the best bass possible and a way to measure how loud your system is playing, the EPIC-160 in-dash car audio processor is the perfect product for you. The EPIC-160 is an expert combination of the patented bass enhancement circuits from The Epicenter along with a microphone and a 160-dB SPL (sound pressure level) display. The display will show real time SPL or hold the highest value so you can show your friends. It will also display voltage so you can monitor your vehicle's electrical systems. With AudioControl's unique Para-Bass equalization control, you select the frequency and bandwidth for the enhanced bass action. The EPIC-160 in-dash car audio processor gives you great bass and a way to see the result.

The EPIC-160 uses The Epicenter’s patented bass restoration circuitry, which actually adds lower octaves of bass to any performance autosound system. In addition, the EPIC-160 includes AudioControl’s Para-Bass equalization, which allows the user to fine-tune the bass response to their specific vehicle. The net result is more bass…louder.

In addition to allowing users to maximize their bass response, the new EPIC-160 offers a specially designed microphone mounted on the front panel that can measure up to 160 dB. The SPL is then shown on an LED display on the front panel of the EPIC-160. Optionally, users of the EPIC-160 may select to see their SPL measurement constantly updating or in a peak hold mode. The display also will show the systems power voltage with one tenth volt resolution.

The EPIC-160 is housed in a convenient ½ DIN sized chassis with all of the user controls and microphone mounted on the front panel. Like most AudioControl products, the EPIC-160 provides speaker level inputs and the ability to output signal levels as high as 13-volts.

In addition to our powerful crossover, the DXS features our exclusive Programmable Frequency Match (PFM) filter system. This low-cut filter brings out the best bass performance from any system. A sharp 18 dB frequency-programmable bass filter allows the system installer to easily customize the bass response to match the speaker design. Audio Control Matrix

For integrating multi-media and video games or for driving dozens of amplifiers, the Matrix gives your system a boost. With multiple sources, like video, the Matrix level matches the different volume levels so switching between them is seamless. The THREE.1 is AudioControl’s in-dash car audio processor that combines a four band stereo EQ along with a 4 channel, 2-way electronic crossover. This “one box solution” is a great car audio processor for enthusiasts who want the sonic benefits of AudioControl components but have limited installation space.

The THREE.1 starts with four stereo equalization controls including a Para-Bass control to give subwoofers an extra kick. It also features a 4 channel, 2-way, 24 dB/octave car audio crossover with a fader. To round out the package the THREE.1 also includes a subwoofer level control, speaker level inputs, master volume control, and selectable illumination color.
